About Lori
Lori van Gremberghe is an award-winning jazz vocalist from Flanders. From a young age, she was drawn to music and other art forms. After earning a degree in architecture, she studied jazz at various conservatories in Belgium and later graduated from the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz (KUG), Austria. She has performed in Austria, Latvia, Italy, the Netherlands, and her home country Belgium, in a wide range of settings—from big bands and quartets to solo projects.
In 2016, she was awarded the Downbeat SMA for Best Vocal Soloist. In addition to her work as a vocalist, Lori is also active as a composer, lyricist, pianist, teacher, and coach. She is currently delving deeper into studies about the body, aiming to gain a profound understanding and mastery of the voice as an instrument.
